Full exterior and interior remodel for the Independent Natural Food Retailers Association’s new headquarters. The design was heavily influenced by Infra’s commitment to health and sustainability. The project includes everything from red list free materials and abundant natural light to edible gardens and an on-site chef.

ARTHAUS APARTMENTS

Team: Jessica Harner, Christian Dean, Pamela Sax, Beth Schmiesing Size: 9,300sf Type: 12 Unit Apartment Complex

New 12 unit apartment complex built on what was previously a single family lot. This project was made possible because of the passing of Minneapolis’s “2040 Plan” which eliminated single family zoning in an effort to remedy the effects of historic redlining as well as to allow for increased density of housing at affordable costs.

New 26 unit apartment complex located in Mankato, MN. This project was unique in that the contractor was also the developer/owner of the project. This meant we were able to streamline the design process by getting all parties involved from day one and having a clear and succinct approval process.

SOUTHCENTRAL FOUNDATION: ALASKA NATIVE MEDICAL CENTER & FIREWEED BUILDING

Southcentral Foundation is a non-profit health organization owned by and serving the Alaska native population. In partnership with the local project architects, Architects Alaska, we served as design consultants for the renovation of two separate buildings under the umbrella of the Southcentral Foundation: the Alaska Native Medical Center and the Fireweed Building. We were hired to design the dental wings of each renovation project with the goal of balancing privacy and dignity with efficient and expanded operations.

St Louis Park Emergency Program, or STEP, is a community food shelf and social service agency providing support and advocacy for those they serve. The scope of the project involved expanding STEP’s existing space to help facilitate the growth of their many community programs as well as a partial interior remodel of their existing food shelf.
